뉴욕의 한인 청소년 합창단, 또는 New York Korean American Student Choir (NYKASC)는 지역 내 젊은이들이 모여 음악적 재능을 발휘하는 youth choir입니다.
about NYKASC
The New York Korean American Students Choir (NYKASC) is a youth choir based in New York and Long Island, composed of approximately 25–30 Korean American students ranging from 3rd grade through high school.
The choir was founded to promote music, cultural exchange, and community service through choral performance. NYKASC provides young students with opportunities to develop musical excellence while contributing positively to the community.
NYKASC actively participates in a wide range of community events and cultural programs. The choir has performed at community festivals, hospital and nursing home events, memorial services, and Notably, the choir has also participated in 9/11 memorial tribute events, honoring and remembering those who served the community. Through these performances, the choir strives to share the beauty of choral music while strengthening connections between the Korean American community and the broader New York community.
